I have always had a interest in the environment and outdoor activities. It seem natural to combine these two passions with my abilty to design and make things. I particulary enjoy working with natural materials such as wood but I respect the qualities of modern composites. I would like to bring these closer together to make naural composites with modern properties and uses.

 
I studied BSc Surf Science and Technology at the University of Plymouth in 2000 and made my first surfboard in Falmouth in 2002. Since then I have been interested in starting a business making more environmentally friendly outdoor equipment.
 
I now work as a recycling officer for a local council. This has taught me many useful skills as well as learning about recycling processes and product and making good contacts.
Company history
 
I started Eco Surf Design in 2007 to bring together my design work and production of outdoor equipment. I hope that eventually this will enable me to make a living doing this.
 
 
Customers
 
So far I have made a series of prototype skateboards, surfboards and snowboards.
 Sublime skateboards has gone into small batch production. These have mostly been distribute around friends for testing.
